JR Zak x JR Kat

Buck is a 50 pound male with a very intense working style. He is a quick flanker and can be a little pushy on stock. He does not have much natural pace, and when left to his own devices, he will continue to put more and more pressure on cattle. He loves to bite heels but is very strong on the head as well. Like his sire, JR Zak, and his grand sire JR Red, he is a competent dog on fresh stockers and cow calf pairs. He has proven to be not only be a very handy ranch dog but also a great trial dog. Buck is full panel clear on his DNA test and is standing for stud service in Tioga, Texas.

Duke is a strong 55lb, confident dog with a calm working style. His presence seems to relax the stock but when he is challenged, he has a very capable heel bite and is really strong on the head. He spent the first 2 1/2 years of his life, working on a ranch in Montana with Philip Hofer. This on the job work experience has developed a little slower working style and natural feel on cattle making him an awesome trial dog. Duke is full panel clear on his DNA test and is standing for stud service in Meadowview, Virginia.
